Study on Capillary Water Absorption of Waterborne-Polyurethane-Modified Recycled Coarse Aggregate Concrete

The reuse of construction and demolition waste as a substitute for natural coarse aggregate in the production recycled concrete has been widely used. In order to study capillary water absorption performance waterborne-polyurethane-modified (WPUMRC), effects different curing systems, polymer-cement ratios, waterborne polyurethane addition methods on cumulative rate WPUMRC were analyzed, through MIP tests, micro modification mechanism was analyzed. results indicate that optimal system both DC (waterborne is added separately from water) HC mixed with some effective then added) 14 d standard curing—14 indoor drying system. Waterborne can fill pores micro-cracks inside or interweave hydration products cement form spatial network structure, reducing porosity, thereby improving WPUMRC. Based test results, grey correlation method used establish relationship between pore structure under addition, prediction model established according which be predict WPUMRC’s performance.
